Southeast Wise Women: Honoring Women and the Earth
I’m delighted to be teaching again this Fall at the annual Southeast Wise Woman Herbal Conference.
October 11-13, 2019, we will come together once more in this strong, supportive sisterhood honoring ourselves, the plants, and the Earth. For one weekend in autumn, we share inspiration, celebration and practical learning about earth-based healing and women’s health.
Featuring 50 workshops and classes in herbalism, nutrition, personal growth, and natural healing, this weekend will renew your spirit, ignite your fierce feminine superpowers, and immerse you in community & connection.
At this year’s gathering, I’ll be teaching two courses on…
Spiral Power Qi Gong
Qi Gong means ‘energy cultivation.’ We all have Qi, or life-force energy. In this gentle, effective class, we practice movement meditation and to promote health. Empty the mind, relax the body, and engage in simple, rhythmic, spiraling movements that mimic the flow of nature. The result is cleansing, centering, peaceful, and harmonious; cultivating vitality and wellness on all levels of being.
Qoya: Wise, Wild, and Free
Movement is medicine. Throughout history, humans have used dance as a form of natural healing. Qoya combines dance, yoga, and sensual movement to facilitate a return to your body. It’s not about how it looks, it’s about how it feels. You can trust that your body is inherently wise, and that it knows how to move.
